Magic Outcomes Magic Outcomes (Leadership development) - A 9 months schools based MBA level programme, to build leadership skills and organisational partnership with the schools community. - This includes monthly seminars to raise understanding of the causes of social exclusion, plus action learning through schools based project work. - Each student is required to identify and solve a key schools issue, with the support of a learning mentor and a formal action learning context. Supporting School Leadership (Sustainable Cookery Clubs and Whole School Food Vision) - A pilot programme developed and delivered by Magic Outcomes in partnership with the School Food Trusts Lets Get Cooking programme, funded by the Big Lottery Fund. - The pilot involved a total of twenty primary schools, in two London boroughs (Hackney and Islington) and three boroughs in Yorkshire (Sheffield, Rotherham and Wakefield) supported over a one to two year period. For more information, please visit the Supporting School Leadership site. - Schools based facilitated teambuilding activities - One off development events to, for example, give new recruits a chance to live organisational values in a community setting - Provides experienced facilitation to help members understand the purpose and habits of any team, through a practical, hands- on event. - A programme which takes the individual into a range of new career experiences - Structured mentoring is available throughout, to the individual learn from the alternative workplace experience - Activities range from simple interviews to shadowing to interim management – depending on the individual learning goals. - Enabling individuals to try alternative workplaces, e.g. private to public sector and vice versa
- Working with a Magic Outcomes mentor to identify personal learning style and preferences, with access to a range of activities based within local communities. - Enabling greater awareness of community involvement, diversity and inclusion in teams |
